A Great Day!

(pic from Leigh's Life)

Remember my Fun Chalkboard Paint Project??

I was thrilled to have Leigh Ann from Leigh's Life send me a link to her blog where she showed her version (see picture above) of not only this Chalkboard Paint Project but 2 others!!!
Leigh Ann had a beautiful spread set out for members of her church on Sunday morning, and can I just say that it is TOO CUTE!! This would work great for a backyard BBQ or neighborhood potluck as well!

Thanks for sharing with us, Leigh Ann!

If anyone else has tried this project, or any of my projects, I'd love to see a picture & would be happy to feature it on my blog! :)

Also, a big Thank You to Naturally Jules for this "One Lovely Blog Award"!!!
How sweet, I really appreciate it! :)
I need to list 6 Things That Make Me Happy Today:
(in no particular order!)
  1. The homemade sausage, egg & cheese biscuit that Hubby made me for breakfast!
  2. The beautiful, sunny, blue-sky day outside!
  3. An amazing Hubby who I love more & more with each passing day, & 2 wonderful children who brighten my day with their hugs and "baby-kisses"!!
  4. That everything seems to be moving in the right direction for our house closings.
  5. That I am around 75% finished packing! Whoo-hooooo!!!
  6. Dear, dear friends......like you! :)
Have a Wonderfully Blessed Day!

Hi Stacey,
Glad to hear things are coming along with your move. Read your post on making a welcoming home for guests. Very good post full of great ideas. I have some lil satin pouches I bought in the Target $1 area and I put candy in them and lay it on their pillows.
All my guests have liked them.
Well have a great day,
Blessings, Nellie

I am so glad you showed your picnic basket again...it is so cute and I missed it the first time. I hope to paint the side of my kitchen cabinet this summer.

I have been following your blog for awhile, thank you for your encouraging words and projects. This morning I was going back through your project list and came upon the bedskirt/sewing machine needle fun. I thought you might be interested in my recent encounter with my sewing machine. www.marileadreams.blogspot.com
Enjoy your new home, your family is blessed to have you in their lives.
