Puppy Love & Award

Just look at my "puppy-love" Sadie! Isn't she the cutest giant Yorkie you've ever seen?! She's also known as the "freak" ;) because she's a whopping 13 lbs, and is so honey blonde! Guess this is what happens when you have a 1st time mommy doggie bred -- like Forrest Gump said "You never know what you're gonna get!". Of course, he was talking about life and chocolate, but it works for puppies, too! :)

We just adore sweet Sadie, and here she is back from the groomer, who made her look even less like a Yorkie by chopping off her face hair! Now she looks like my sister's shelter mutt that we also love :). That Forrest was so right! LOL!!!

I also got a totally sweet award a couple weeks ago from Shannon at Bless Our Nest! Isn't this a cute award? Thanks, Shannon! (took me awhile to get my blog sidebars back in order after the new blog makeover...still working on that by the way!)

I'd like to give this "Fluffy Nest Award" to:

Ruthann from Warm Pie Happy Home!! Ruthann has the most lovely posts, and a dreamy dream home that's filled with family and love! This gal could seriously write for a magazine or do a book on homemaking! Thanks for sharing your decorating and homemaking ideas with us, Ruthann! :)

and

Angie from Sandals and Daisies!! Angie is so creative with her amazing home! She has a dining room that I'd love to enjoy a cup of tea in, and this girl can make the prettiest crafts with stuff she already has! She's started to list some on a selling blog, and I'm sure they'll go fast! :) The coolest part about Angie's "Fluffy Nest" is all of the projects that she does with her kids -- I think that's great!

Congratulations, Ruthann and Angie!!!

Have a blessed day, everyone!

My Puppy & Garden Pics

This little block reminds me of my own puppy, Sadie! She is a Yorkie, but doesn't seem like it at all! She was only supposed to be 6 lbs, but she weighs 13-14 lbs! She is also very golden-honey colored. Hmm... :)!! Here's our cutie in her doggie playpen she stays in when we leave the house.

And here are a few pics of the garden taken last month. I'm not feeling much more motivated than that today...my youngest daughter is sick with croup, and I'm exhausted! Hope you enjoy these!

I'd also like to say THANK YOU to everyone for the kind posts you left this weekend! They really made me smile! I really do think of all of you posters and readers as wonderful friends "visiting" with me! It was so much fun to do Cindy's "My Favorite Thing" weekend over at My Romantic Home! If you haven't checked it out, you should! The link is over in my blogs i like section.
Also, THANK YOU to Margo at robojunker.com for featuring my "Shoe Stretcher Mushrooms" idea on her online magazine as Quick Project of the Week!!! Margo, otherwise known as Robolady, has a wonderful site with lots of T2T projects, and a link to her blog on there as well.
Hopefully my daughter and I will be doing better tomm.
Blessings to you,
Stacey
ps--Did anyone do the week of being Thankful every day? Let me know! I am going to personally keep it up!
I have gotten tons of readers during the past week, and I'd love to hear from you! Leave me a little comment, and let me know you were here!
I don't know why my text is smooshing up like this.
