Junk Trip - Day 2 - Junk Bonanza!

Ready to join me for Day 2 -- Junk Bonanza?! There's going to be LOTS of pics! Just click to enlarge.
This was an incredible event, it absolutely blew me away! Ki & the Junk Bonanza Team did such an amazing job :). The vendors displays were jaw dropping cool, and everyone was so nice!!!
We got there as early birds at 7:00am, and got to be among the first to get the goodies :). Country Home sponsored a wonderful goody bag for the early birds filled with the latest edition of Country Home & a 1 yr. subscription, Vintage Textile Soak, Gorilla Glue, Thimbleberries samples, Howard Feed-N-Wax, and lots of local coupons!
(The above pic was taken during our "sneak peek" the night before, otherwise you'd see LOTS of early-birds a shoppin'!)

The above booth was done by Lanette of Cottage Elements, sharing with Round Barn Potting Co. After meeting on junk message boards, we were able to meet in person, and she is just so sweet! Their booth was just fantastic, and I bought a really pretty pumpkin collage painting for fall!
There was so much cool JUNK to see! It was everywhere :) & we were lovin' it!! The above pic was from the junk {re}defined / Pfarkel sisters & Emma's Nook & Granny booth! I got some cool locker baskets from them, and just generally drooled over their stuff.

Marcy and Valarie at Fern Hill & Cross Creek booth. We all found some great junk there!
Here' s Amy and I again at the same booth!
A gorgeous table setting using JUNK at the Junk Corral booth.
Christy makes amazing metal sculptures--she welds! Look what she found for a hat!

Here's me with JOAN STEFFEND from HGTV's Decorating Cents! I love that show!! I was 1st to meet her when she arrived before her demonstration at the Tomboy Tool booth. Joan was just so genuinely fun & kind, the kind of gal you'd want to be friends with! I was just a little :) excited to meet her, and we chatted for a couple minutes and snapped a pic before the crowd lined up!

The van during a quick unloading before lunch! It's getting crowded in there!
The Red Shed Girls group & Ki Nassauer (!) met for lunch at Robert's Restaurant. (Matthew Mead was at the Bonanza too signing books, and was originally scheduled to meet us for lunch but it didn't work out.) It was a great meal, & nice to get off of our feet for an hour :) after shopping all morning long! After lunch it was a bit more shopping at the Junk Bonanza, and we loaded up to hit one more spot for the day.

We went to Kathie's Finds, not too far away. She was at the Bonanza, and came to open her shop just for us!

There were finds inside and out, and the best was...
hiding in a box in the shed out back! Junkers know how to dig!! I got some spindles and the pieces to a broken piano stool with glass ball & claw feet--too cool!!!
Pics of my "Fun Finds" for the day! (Click to enlarge) The Junk Bonanza was SO much fun, I just know I'll be back next year!!!

Isn't this great JUNK?! Don't you wish you were at Junk Bonanza too?! ;)
Tune in for Day 3 on Wed.!

Stacey, it was so great to meet you and all the other incredible junkers at the Bonanza. Love your blog, too! I've been seeking real ancestors for years and every once in a while add an instant ancestor just to shake things up a bit.

Your weekend finds are awesome. Good job!!

Very fun blog! It's great to hear about your adventures finding treasures.

I've been to Kathie's Finds and it's really an experience. Not only do you find neat things, but Kathie is a gem. She's ready to welcome you in with open arms anytime you stop by...everyone feels like family with her.

Cherry's - you can still check out www.kathiesfinds.com and she now takes orders for her one-of-a-kind giftbaskets and "green" line of really cute totes over the phone.

I've personally ordered many gift baskets from her--they're NEWTIQUE (some antique and some new stuff in them) and they are so wonderful and unique--every one. I'm always so proud to give them as gifts because it's personalized for the person I give it to.

I can't wait to see what you find next Stacey!
