Baby Steps

Anyone else here have the movie "What About Bob?" as a family favorite?!?!

Hubby and I just love this movie! Lately I feel a bit like Bob....this is one crazy month! I need a vacation... "from my problems"!! :) I'm trying to do "Baby Steps"! Like packing several boxes every day, making phone calls and appointments, trying not to completely freak out about everything. "I'm baby stepping! I'm doing the work. I'm not a slacker!" But some days are more crazy than others. ("Roses are red, Violets are blue, I'm a schizophrenic, and so am I")

This is one of those days! :) So I'll just tell myself, "I feel good, I feel great, I feel wonderful....I feel good, I feel great, I feel wonderful...", over and over until maybe it'll actually come true!! haha!

We're going house hunting this weekend, and the girls are staying here with my sister, so pray that all goes well with the kids & for safety on our journey and that we'll find the house we're meant to have!

I'm off to pack our suitcases now! If you have no idea what this post is even about :), and you like silly humor movies, then I highly recommend you rent "What About Bob" this weekend!! :) It gets even funnier the more times you watch it!

Have a great weekend!

That is a family favorite in my fam! We quote all sorts of lines; "That was not smart!" and "There are two types of people, those who like Neil Diamond and those who don't". FABULOUS MOVIE.

Good luck house hunting!

We own that movie but haven't watched it in awhile...maybe we'll pop it in this weekend!

"I'm singin in the rain! Just singin in the rain, what a wonderful feeling, I'm happy again!..."

Keep doing the work one baby step at a time!

I LOVE "What About Bob?" and your quotes made me laugh so hard! Esp. "I'm doing the work. I'm not a slacker." I think I know what we're watching tonight when brother and sis-in-law get here! ;)

We just watched A Beautiful Mind, with Russell Crowe, a little of the frightful, serious side of it all, but I love What About Bob. Your "roses are red" lyric had me laughing out loud!
Prayers go with you house hunting. Come by my new blog for a visit.
Blessings, Debra

Have fun house hunting! I completely understand the panic. We finally found a home after 3 trips up to DC. Our favorites got higher bids than we offered but we did find a lovely little rambler - Which is great b/c I don't have to lug my stuff up and down the stairs!
Glad to know your house has sold. Ours also is under contract so we are so excited! It really shows that it's God's plan for us both to move back to those places that feel like home for us.
We sign the papers for here on the 13th and on the 10th for the DC home.
I'd love to see you one last time but it may not be possible with all the crazy scheduling! But we'll be able to keep in touch through blogging!

I love the movie too. I've watched it several time and still laugh.

I'm in New Hampshire from time to time on business and took a weekend to go up to Lake Winnipesaukee. Would never have known it existed (not my part of the country) if not for the movie.
