Master Makeover "During" Pics

I am SO excited about my Master Makeover, I can't even tell you!!

Remember the blah BEFORE pic above with it's not-so-pretty, really brownish-orange in real life wall color?

Well, look at what 2 coats of Mr. Sherwin-Williams' "Reflection" can do:

Ahhhh.....so pretty now!! :)

It's the softest greyish-blue color and I ADORE it!
I already had the white bedding, too, so that was easy-peasy to add!

Step 1 in my Master Makeover is now complete!

Looking familiar??
This photo by the talented Heather Chadduck below is my inspiration:

Oh, yeah! Both Hubby and I LOVE the look of this room, and will be referring to it often for our Master Makeover Re-do!!

The next step:
Bamboo Roman Shades
and
Brown Toile (have some of this too!)

Have you ever found a picture you loved and used it as decorating inspiration?!?

{We're still unpacking like mad :) so please understand if I haven't visited your blog lately, I'll be by to visit soon I promise! Thanks, friends, you're the best!!!}

I love it! And it looks like you are well on your way to your dream home. :) I often find pictures I want to use as inspiration - how about the entire Potterybarn catalog every fall! But somehow it gets tucked into my magazine holder and my rooms remain the same. Thanks for the push to try something new!

I absolutely love the color you picked. It is going to go well with your brown toile.
There is another lady that blogs that has that same pic for an inpiration pic and has brought it to life in her home as well.
I like toile as well and years ago JCPenney had a pic of a black and creme toile room with splashes of red that I copied. It's so much fun to copy the pic and do it for less.
Take your time unpacking and enjoy spiffing up your new digs. We'll all still be here.

Stacy, this is my first comment on your blog, but I read daily. I can't believe how muchthat inspiration photo looks like your room--the windows and all. I can see why you'd refer to that one, it's gorgeous! I tend to be jealous of anyone with "normal" windows & wall space, which our little 1960's ranch doesn't offer in the bedrooms. Good luck with this makeover & move. It's looking great!

Stacey, I love it already! Thank you so much for posting the paint color...that is VERY close to what I want when we do something with our master...I even have white bedding...if I can trust the kids (and husband!) to keep shoes off it. ;)

If you have a chance to stop by, my 200th post Giveaway went up yesterday (Sunday) with my Thrifty Treasures post. :)

Beautiful room!! I love using an inspiration pic and doing it for less! We just painted our bedroom but went with a deep gray-blue( looks bluer on my blog) but I love the pop of the white in your room, too!
