Paint & Fabric & Paint, Oh My!

This weekend Hubby and I will be working in the kitchen. Hubby will be finishing painting the walls SW Cork Wedge, and I'll be trying not to sew through my finger again as I make curtains & a faux roman shade! {I promise I'll pay attention to what I'm doing this time! Yikes!}

Have you ever noticed how working on one project can suddenly snowball into a major whole room/whole house re-do? LOL!! Well, that's how we're feeling! After looking at our crisp, fresh looking new kitchen all of a sudden the walls in the living room & dining room that we were going to "get around to painting sometime" seem to need new paint STAT!!! :) Add the fact that we just got a 25% off Sherwin Williams paint coupon in the mail, and you'd better believe we're gonna be painting like crazy over here at The Blessed Nest!

Guess I have to get movin' & groovin' with our design for those spaces! As always, I'll be posting before & afters! :)

Come on back tomorrow for a SPRING GIVEAWAY!!!!!

Hi Stacey! Good luck with all your projects this weekend. Your fabric selection is just gorgeous! Oh and don't sew through your most tiny dainty finger! Ouch is right! :)

J'adore you fabric choices!!! It's going to look great.

I have a request: can you post a tutorial of your faux Roman shade? Pretty please? :) I have yet to find one with step-by-step photos that looks doable. You know, if you have time on your hands. ;)

Love the fabric...can't wait to see the finished product. We are remodeling our den/breakfast/kitchen this year and I am realling feeling inspired and not so overwhelmed. I will be posting our progress but it will be a few months.

Oh I know the feeling! I have my eye on that same light fixture but I know my husband will hear none of it. We just changed ours out about 2 years ago. I hope you get yours :) It will be just beautiful when done. I cant wait to see!

Hi Stacey,
I know what you mean about the domino effect.
I love the fabric you are going to use. Looking forward to the post when you reveal your faux roman shade.
