A is for Autumn

I've loved seeing some other blogs and the banners they've created, and decided to make my own! I love how it turned out!

Give me a : A-U-T-U-M-N!!!

I made this with scrapbook paper, photocopied sheet music for some b&w, and glitter letters from walmarrt. I was smiling the whole time...I love being crafty and creative. It truly makes my spirit happy!

It's so lonely hanging on my mantle...it wants some pumpkin friends to join it! I was going to go to the store today (no fresh pumpkins here for awhile--keep forgetting I'm not in the midwest!) to get some faux/fake pumpkins & bittersweet, but Tropical Storm Hanna has us staying inside. We just got rain & wind, but not as bad as the coast. No power loss or anything. But it's windy enough I don't feel like driving around. So the rest of my mantle decorating will have to wait! ;)

Have a great Saturday!

Blessings,
Stacey

ps--Do you think I should change the ribbon to a black & white check ribbon?? I might, let me know what you think!! :)

Oh I love your banner, for the longest I have been wanting to make one, really wanted to do a neat one to use at my daughter's wedding reception coming up BUT I haven't done it yet.
I love the letters you used, I have noticed that lately Walmart is getting better at carrying neat things.

That is wonderful and so creative! I would love to be able to do that! I love the letters you used.

I know our days have been 85 so it is hard to pull out the pumpkins right now!

Cute banner--thanks for me giving me the push I needed to work on my own home this weekend. I am now ready for some fall nesting--it is cold and cloudy here. Makes me want to stay indoors and decorate Ü!

I think your banner looks great. I don't know if you would need to change out the ribbon but I guess you could if you wanted to.

What a precious banner!! I made one last year, but only had 3 letters B-O-O! Took me a looong time, too.

I love it!!! I've been wanting to make one too but mine would probably look like something a 5 year old made!!! I would keep that ribbon through September and then in October when it's closer to Halloween change it to B&W.

That turned out great! Your mixing of patterns and colors is fabulous! I might just have to try one of those banners. I bet my kids would love to help with that project!

Hi, Love this banner. I found some glitter letters today at Ben Franklin's. Now I need to go get the paper. How big did you make the triangles?

Thanks for the great idea!
