I thought I would join the Nester from http://nestingplacenc.blogspot.com/ who is doing a show-n-tell today of people's window mistreatments! Easy solutions for windows, not needing sewing or measurements, etc.
I used 1 curtain panel per window in my girls' bedroom to make these mistreatments.
Aren't they cute? And so easy! All I did was put the curtain panel on a rod from Target, gather the material up in folds, and safety pin the folds together in the back to make what looks like a gathered shade!
We tend to move often, and I didn't want to cut the fabric, so this seemed like an easy solution!
Well, there you go! Easy-peasy, lemon-squeezey! (As my daughter's little friend would say!)
Hope you enjoyed this, and check out the Nester's other friends who joined in the show & tell!
Blessings,
Stacey

Looks fabulous. Actually it looks better than "real" ones because it doesn't sag!
It's very cute! We have moved a ton as well so this is a great idea.
How sweet! And what a great idea. This room reminds me of me and my sister's room when we were little girls. Thanks for sharing!
What a sweet room! Thank goodness for safety pins!
Oh, I am working on my two daughters' room as well. I meant to paint it a pale pink (it looked like it from the top of the Oops can), but came out a bit brighter. Oh well, we'll enjoy it for now and then repaint. Love their room...so precious!
Safety pins! Great idea!

Wow that's beautiful! I love the matching beds with matching windows and matching mistreatments. So gorgeous and girly.
How easy is that? Love it! Thanks for the idea:) I still have several rooms to go and could use all the inspiration I can get.
very nice. I only wish my girls bedroom was so tidy. My girls NEED 1001 dolls and stuffed animals on their beds so there is no tidy with that many NEEDED things on the beds.
How sweet! I love that you did this in your girls' room, and the gather just looks so feminine to me. Love it!
One of my favorites! I plan on mistreating my bathroom windows, and this "party" couldn't have come soon enough for me! Thanks for sharing!
Those are DARLING!
Totally fabu mistreatments!
What a beautiful room, and I love the treatments.
Okay, I really like this. I was just commenting in my blog that I'm not too fond of the valance effect I've achieved with my mistreatments...but what you've done is so much better than a valance. I really really like this! Hmmmm...you have my mind spinning with possibilities now!
