Angie at Sandals and Daisies has tagged me to list 7 Random Things about myself!- I don't like "scented" things. Only vanilla or cinnamon-y scents for candles, and no scented bath stuff or lotions. I don't know why -- just smells yucky!
- I don't usually bother to have my nails polished because they just get ruined when I garden/landscape (in NC you can garden most of the year!).
- I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that I actually really like the latest New Kids on the Block song "Summertime"! My husband said I had a little smile and google eyes when I watched the video! What can I say -- every 14 yr old girl had mad crushes back around '89! hehe!!!
- I am the 1st person in my entire extended family in 4 generations to have red hair!
- I am a bit of a sweet-tooth, and tend to have candy on hand at all times!! When I'm extremely stressed I tend to pick a particular one and get...um...a little addicted to it! :) When we moved here 2 years ago, I was eating red hots and mini frozen candy bars like crazy!! LOL
- I love to garden, but really hate to water houseplants! They have to be seriously tough to make it in this house!! Yet I have several anyway! :)
- I don't own a watch. My only one broke several yrs ago, and I haven't worn one since!

I'd also like to apologize for my lack of interesting/or just lack of posts lately. I have been a little overwhelmed with things here. Just lots of extended family projects I have to finish, trying to get ready to sell some of my antiques and junk this Sat., praying and trying not to worry for my brother (in-law, but I've known him since he was 15, so seems like my real brother) who's going through final testing for a border patrol job (pray about this if you would! May God's will be done--this is a dangerous job), and just trying to keep up with regular life at home too! I'm hoping that next week things will have slowed down a wee bit, and I can get back to "normal"! :)

Hahaha! Mine was New Kids on the Block too, I also had a poster of John Bon Jovi with the Superman tattoo on his arm. But i was kinda weird and had a poster of Clark Gable from Gone with the Wind. Strange for a 13-14 year old but there ya go!
By far Kirk Cameron! I saw Fireproof this weekend and it brought back all those feelings...Hee hee!

Mine was Zach on Saved By the Bell and Jesse (sp?) on Full House. I guess I liked older men!! Ha!

My watch died about 5 years ago, and I never felt the need to replace it.
Celebrity crush...I am thinking and can't come up with one. How sad is that? But I can definitely relate to the candy obsession. Mine was those little frozen candy bars for awhile, and lately is is gobstoppers. Yeah, my dentist loves that! :)

Posters?...Duran Duran, Michael Jackson, Spuds MacKenzie...yeah, I know...weird combination. No, it does not mean I had crushes on them. Who were my crushes? Ralph Macchio from Karate Kid, of course! And who could forget Kevin Bacon, John Stamos, C. Thomas Howell, Corey Haim, Rob Lowe, Michael J. Fox, and a young Tom Cruise? They were all just so cute! Gotta love the 80s!
Shawn Cassidy and oh..what was the other Hardy Boy's guy....Parker Stevenson. Yep, loved them, and even have a scrap book of Shawn. :)

I don't own a watch either..I am always asking..what time is it?...lol..I was in love with Joey McIntyre from New Kids and also Kirk Cameron...doesn't he still look the same? That man has not aged..amazing!

p.s. I was watching New Kids on The Today Show awhile ago..and hubby was making fun of me..apparently, I was sitting there watching them in a daze...lol..they still sound good!
I only wear a watch at work. I am a nurse. It's a job requirement! I loved Ralph Macchio, C. Thomas Howell, Lou Diamond Phillips, Rob Lowe, Patrick Swayze and Bo Duke from Dukes of Hazzard (my biggest crush). I loved Jon Bon Jovi and still do!
I'm dating myself a bit here. But when I was a pre-teen it was David Cassidy. Then as a teenager, must have been Peter Frampton. They both still look good.

Oh, New Kids on the Block. That takes me back. I think I was in third grade when they started to make it big, and I remember my friends and I picking out which we thought was cuter.
It was interesting to learn a little more about you. I had a serious crush on Kirk Cameron, too. My husband actually played tennis with him once when he was in high school. I am looking forward to seeing "Fireproof" and am so pleased that he has turned out to be such a great guy.
This is going to date me--I had a crush on Shaun Cassidy and Leif Garrett. As a teen--I don't remember--Beau from Days of our Lives!
