A Snow Day!

Guess what we woke up to this morning!!! In North Carolina, no less! SNOW DAY!!!

Poor Sadie had never seen snow before! She just wanted to look around and eat some of the snow!

It truly looks like a Winter Wonderland out there!

And since this family is from the Midwest, I think my kids will be the only ones who actually have snowpants and boots to play in the snow with!! Yup, only around 4 inches or so, but school was cancelled last night :)! Crazy!
I really hope that y'all have a wonderfully blessed day today!!! I'm off to get ready to PLAY!

It's beautiful! School would be cancelled here too. We haven't been lucky to have snow yet this year. I'm missing it. Enjoy your day. :)

Here on the coast, ours is just starting to fall this morning. Its still a mix of rain and snow, and supposed to turn to snow later on. I am still skeptical we will get any. I could not believe all the local closings today - before a single flake fell. I stopped to get diapers for the baby last night, and it looked like people had heard all grocery stores were being shut down forever. Cartloads of canned goods and bread. Too funny! Enjoy your snow...!

Hey enjoy that little bit of snow...from one Indiana gal to another:0 You know we kind of snicker at people further south who don't know how to deal with snow...just a little snicker tho:)
When we lived in KY, the whole city would shut down at just the threat of flurries:)! Have so much fun today!:)

We have snow here too! And my parents have a few inches as well. It seems like the entire state of ours is covered in the stuff. It's so fun. And so pretty! Stay warm!

Hi! I just discovered your blog and wanted to say hello! I love the beautiful winter pictures of your snowfall. I live in North Georgia, but not quite North enough yet to have snow. We have deep cold, so snow would be nice if I'm going to freeze anyway! Enjoy the beauty of it and keep warm!

I am jealous - we just missed it by a 30 mi. radius. School is canceled for our dusting. Cracks me up, and yes, the kids have our WI snowpants on and are outside with the reality that no sledding or snowmen are to be had. :0

You are making me homesick! I am from TN and now live in SC. While snow in TN didn't happen much, it happened more than here in Charleston. Enjoy it! It's beautiful!

WOW...so pretty! We don't get snow like that here in Northeast Texas. Usually just freezing rain and a mess! I am jealous. Hope you have a fun day.

We had a 60% chance of precipitation the other day and under freezing temps; but no snow...I'll have to live vicariously through your beautiful photos!

Our yard looks like yours as well. I loved taking photos and being outside in it since it's so rare here in NC!
I wonder how long it will stick to the ground? :)
