Sunroom -- Cottage Seating

If you've been reading my blog, you'll remember that we're going to be doing a makeover on my sunroom! You can see all of the before pics of the sunroom here.

Everyone wanted to know what I was planning to do, and I thought I'd reveal it a bit at a time! I will tell you that the furniture layout will stay the same, as I've just recently rearranged it. Sometimes I'll be asking you to vote for your decision on different decorating choices!

If you'll recall, I got the couch and chair for FREE from my sister when she was redecorating! I like the fabric okay, but I've always wanted a room with these:

Yummy, lovely, crisp and cottagey (and bleachable!) slipcovers!!!

I found these at Ballard Designs in a size that should (after careful measuring) fit great! So, on the Christmas gift list they go, and hopefully it'll work out!! :)

You likey?!

I lovey!!!

Soon I'll share my inspiration "board" for this room :), and we'll also be finishing up our "Dollars and Cents" budgeting series! I've also got a party coming up to share fun ideas and recipes with you as well!!!

Have a great Monday!

Can't wait to see.....we just bought our first brand new coach - high end coach. Now you know with me there has to be a catch. My mom was working at Furniture Market and there were three sofas that they didn't want to have to transfer when they tore down the showroom. This sofa "retails" for $6,000 which is obviously crazy, but they were selling it for $3000 for the designers (that was wholesale)....any guess at what I paid?

No - I just took ten minutes and typed a novel about my story...and it deleted. UGH! I will have to come back to tell you the details.

I'm jealous that you can have white!! It will be beautiful and bright in that room.

I can't wait to see what you do! :) I love the cottage look and am hoping to pull it off in our family room. I warn you though, I will probably be copying some of your ideas. You know what they say, "imitation is the sincerest form of praise." :)

I absolutely love!!! These will be perfect in a sunroom. Very cottage like. I too agree that the bleach thing is a must have.

I love the slips. I need some badly for a chair, but it has a T cushion and i am having a hard time finding what I want and I am not up to making one. Congrats on winning Margo's contest!
